Every Hotel Piccadilly – Stay Right In Central London

Every Hotel Piccadilly – Stay Right In Central London

It is the fourth day into Luxury Week London and this was one of my top days for catwalks and events for men. Fatigue starts settling in and all you want to do is relax and have a space in where you can just chill. Set in London’s buzzing theatre district, this contemporary hotel in an ornate stone building is a minute’s walk from Leicester Square and a 2-minute walk from Piccadilly Circus tube. This hotel has only being going since April last year and has had a huge make over. On entrance I really liked how casual it was but it did not mean that the luxury was not there. The staff were very helpful and I liked the decor it gave a nice feel about to the place. I am a big fan of oversize lights and anything copper or metal. The sofa was a nice greeting meeting point and one where you could lounge around and do some street watching.

Junior Suite

When I walked into the Junior Suite I was so excited by the size and the view. I love people watching and throughout the night it was great to see how central London can be. I was actually surprised how quiet it really was. The Junior Suite had two TV’s and one of them was a whopping 48″ Smart TV. Now I had sometime to chill, so the wine and beer included in my mini-bar came into play whilst having my own lounge area to enjoy it in. If you’re here for business or meeting friends the extra space is perfect for that. The fresh chocolate cakes were a perfect combination with the wine and the view.

My bed was massive and I am a huge fan of comfortable pillows so it was nice to have eight for me to just chill and reflect. Now the bathroom was a real treat. London was humid this week and I only had leather clothing for the fashion events. So I had to come back and do quick changes. So it was nice to have the option of a huge shower and later on a nice relaxing bath. The added bonus to this is one person can have a bath and the other can have a shower and great to have a proper hairdryer in the room too.

Facilities

I am a huge fan of coffee and tea so it was nice to have the option of choosing both. The mini bar is really an added bonus and had a good selection. With this view it put me in a nice relaxing mood as this was the second last day of me attending catwalks for London Collections: Men. I was so busy and loved just coming back and feel a part of this exciting city. I had a lot of clothes and it was great to spread everything out and get ready for the fashion mood. The lounge was nice to chill. I liked the idea of two TV’s because sometimes it’s all about being over the top with facilities. The storage for your luggage was excellent and the natural lighting was so nice to reflect on this great city.

Conclusion

The location is amazing and the access you have at your footsteps is fabulous. Access to nearby theatres is great like the world’s longest-running musical Les Miserables at the Queen’s Theatre. Or there is the Lyric Theatre or you can head to Her Majesty’s Theatre for the indisputable classic and tragic love story of the Phantom of the Opera. But before you do that make sure you go to Soho. It is a great place to experience Asian food and the shopping for both men and women is amazing. For you guys, the new revamped Jermyn Street offers lots of menswear options.

You’re just minutes away from Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, Chinatown, Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden. There are endless shops to explore, food and coffee places at your fingertips. If you’ve never been to London before this is the perfect central place to stay and explore. It is a great hotel for families and the staff were very accommodating towards those who could not speak English very well. Thank you for such a fabulous stay.

Update: this hotel has been rebranded as Thistle Picadilly.
