My name is Christopher Mercier, I am an architect. I left Frank Gehry’s Gehry Design Group in 2002 to establish my own architecture practice to create (fer) studio: Form, Environment Research. Here are my top ten architecture sites in the world.

Notre Dame du Haut (Ronchamp, France ) – Built 1954

Architect: Le Corbusier
This chapel has a strong sense of place, originality and an individually expressive nature like few. As an artist and architect, I appreciate the dual artistic and architectural expression this building presents through its curving forms and monastic type interior experience.
