3. James Dalton Highway, Alaska

The Dalton Highway is a 667 km road in Alaska which begins at the Elliott Highway, north of Fairbanks, and ends at Dead horse near the Arctic Ocean and the Prudhoe Bay oil fields. Although the highway appears serene at first glance, it is badly maintained and filled with potholes and small rocks which make car damage and poor navigation and damage all the more probable.
